THE WILLIAMS INN SET TO WELCOME GUESTS BACK TO THE BERKSHIRES
64-Room Inn, Reminiscent of a Classic American Farmhouse, Boasts Locally-Inspired Restaurant, The Barn
Williamstown, MA (JULY 1, 2020) – As the country begins to travel again, The Williams Inn is excited to welcome guests back to the Berkshires starting July 13, 2020 and diners back to The Barn Kitchen & Bar starting a few days earlier on July 8, 2020. Guests can travel and stay with confidence as the team at The Williams Inn has implemented new procedures and protocols to ensure their standards maintain a high level of protection for our guests and employees. Social distancing guidelines will be implemented throughout the hotel including the lobby, meeting space, bar, and restaurant.
The Barn Kitchen & Bar will feature limited occupancy, outdoor and indoor dining beginning July 8, 2020. The restaurant will be open to the public Wednesday through Sunday for dinner service only from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. offering a limited yet vibrant seasonal menu. The restaurant will run weekly drink and dinner specials that can be viewed on Instagram, Facebook and website. Due to social distancing and limited occupancy, reservations are required and can be made through our website or OpenTable.
Positioned as the beacon of the town center and designed to seamlessly fit into the community, the inn is located on the corner of Latham and Spring streets in the heart of Williamstown. The property is in close proximity to the Berkshires’ world-class cultural institutions—The Clark Art Institute, Tanglewood, the Norman Rockwell Museum, MASS MoCA, and The Bennington Museum to name a few. The inn is also near premier outdoor adventure and sporting attractions such as Jiminy Peak, Ramblewild, and Zoar. In addition, the inn is adjacent to the Taconic Golf Club, ranked #39 in Golf.com’s Top 100 Public Courses and a top 5 collegiate course, with direct cart access from the inn. For nature lovers, The Williams Inn is within easy access to fly fishing, canoeing, cycling, kayaking, and rock climbing, as well as local walking/hiking trails such as Hopkins Memorial Forest, Williamstown Rural Lands Foundation, and Berkshires Natural Resources Council.
“The Williams Inn, with our central location at the base of Spring Street, has become a centerpiece for the community,” says Kevin Hurley, General Manager of The Williams Inn, “and we are looking forward to welcoming back our community, our employees and our guests.”
